Green Beret Rep. Michael Waltz Calls Medal of Honor for Alwyn Cashe ‘a No-Brainer’

Three members of Congress announced the Trump administration has agreed that Cashe’s Silver Star should be upgraded to the Medal of Honor.

The medal will be awarded to Army Staff Sgt. David G. Bellavia for his heroic efforts in Fallujah, Iraq.

President Trump will award Bellavia the Medal of Honor during a White House ceremony on Tuesday afternoon for his actions in Fallujah.
